Before I joined the Elks, I can honestly say I knew NOTHING about the organization. Since I’ve joined, every day I’ve found something new to admire.
The Elks truly represent Patriotism the way it used to be - loving America by caring about the young people who represent her future, and loving freedom by caring about those who defend it.
I sometimes wish all the good things I see in the Elks were more like what you get in the world - we may not agree on politics or we may have very different philosophies, but we see people, not differences.
Virtually every good friend I have is someone I met at the Elks. There are very few things I’ve ever done that I take more pride in than being part of the Elks.
We say, "Elks Care...Elks Share." I can tell you that's the absolute truth! Whatever you care about - whether it's kids, veterans, military families, community or friendship - here's my advice: Become an Elk!
